My name is Lindy Felix  and I want to use my skills as an experienced bodyworker/massage therapist to help you to  RELAX, REJUVENATE,  AND RENEW.  

I am a licensed massage therapist licensed by the Virginia Board of Nursing. I held National Certification for over 8 years and have been in practice professionally since 1988.

Over 30+ years, I have trained in and practiced a variety of modalities including Swedish and Deep-tissue Massage, Kripalu Meditative Bodywork, Myofacial Release,  Trager and other modalities of therapeutic rocking  and joint mobilizing bodywork,  CranioSacral Therapy and  Zero-Balancing (two modalities that have their roots in Osteopathic traditions–aligning  of the body’s structure, soft tissues and energetic systems). I am also trained in Reiki energy medicine and Quantum Touch.  Both of these modalities are usually given with the client fully clothed and utilize very light touch.

I offer sessions  in  my creekside  country home studio (in a historic  log house with stone  fireplaces and tree- top mountain views)  or at your home, office or  vacation getaway in Lexington, Virginia,   Rockbridge County, or surrounding  Shenandoah Valley .

I enjoy serving a clientele comprised of local “regulars and occasionals”, visitors and guests of the many lovely inns and bed and breakfasts in the area, wedding parties, re-unioning families and friends.  I  work often with elderly clients and caregivers, expecting couples,  as well as providing massage to business groups and students at our local colleges. I am sometimes able to provide group appointments or couple’s massage appointments with an accompanying massage colleague.
